Bhubaneswar - The City Of Temples

Bhubaneswar is the capital city of Odisha and the largest city of Indian states. Its origin is more than 3000 years old. Historically it was represented as “The Temple City Of India” (Ekamra Kshetra). With various ranges of heritage resources, it shows some holy cultural landscapes.  

The history of Bhubaneswar city is of 7th century BCE, though the modern city was established in 1948. It is a junction of Hindu, Jain, and Buddhism heritages also includes some Kalingan temples.
